So if it isn't some doomsday theory, its from impending WWIII or one of the ones I keep seeing from all of 4 pages is the Economy Collapse in 2014, which I gather means our money means nothing. So is this true? Should I just quit my job and stock up on food and wonder when life will end? Or is this another group of guys preying on fear that will never come to fruition?

Since the idea of an end or "doomsday", as it's popularly known, stems from Bible teachings, it's best to get details about it from the Bible. First it's important to point out that the popular ideas about "doomsday" stem from opinions and speculations. The Bible teaches that a great change is coming to earth, but not the way people say it would. There will be survivors and the earth will not be destroyed. Psalm 37:29 says, "The righteous will possess the earth, And they will live forever on it." People will lose their lives but the bible specifies who in Proverbs 2:21,22: "For only the upright will reside in the earth, And the blameless will remain in it. As for the wicked, they will be cut off from the earth, And the treacherous will be torn away from it". The wicked will not survive. Only those "doing the will of God will remain forever" (1 John 2:17). The earth will be transformed into a peaceful, paradise earth. There will be no pain, suffering, outcries or death (Revelation 21:4). We don't know "the day or the hour" of when these things will take place (Matthew 24:44). We do know that it is coming soon because the Bible foretold that in this time called "the last days" there will be traits in people that indicate that the end of wickedness is near. You can check it out in 2 Timothy 3:1-5. What is the will of God and how can we do it? For answers and more information please visit www.jw.org and/or any local Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
